Welcome to the Greater Cleveland, Ohio chapter of the Association of Records Managers and Administrators (ARMA).  ARMA’s mission is to advance records and information management as a discipline and a profession; to organize and promote programs of research, education, training, and networking in the profession of records and information management; to support the enhancement of professionalism of members; and to promote cooperative endeavors with related professional groups.

Program:  “ARMA International 101 - What ARMA International can do for you and what you can gain from ARMA International and what your local chapter can do for you ”

 

This presentation will cover the wide range of activities and opportunities that ARMA International has to offer. You will also get up to date information about the structure and make up of both ARMA International and your local chapter. Learn what your chapter is planning for you. What activities will spark your interest? Interested in the CRM process? Want to learn more? Do you know about AIEF ? How about GARP ? These and more topics will be covered by our guest speaker:

 

KOMAL GULICH

 

Komal Gulich, CRM is currently Manager, Enterprise Records Management at FirstEnergy Corp headquartered in Akron, Ohio. She is responsible for proper identification collection, retrieval and retention of all business records. Ensures records management processes, policies and systems fulfill all legal, regulatory, business requirements for corporation’s business records, including nuclear operations. She has worked in records management activities for 29 years.

Komal is also a Director at Large on the ARMA International Board of Directors. She serves as the Member and Practice Support Committee Chair. She has been an ARMA member for 18 years and served in a variety of roles at all levels of ARMA International (local, regional and international). She has been a certified records manager for over 12 years. She has also served several years on the ICRM exam development committee.
